Lagoon 50 wins Multihull of the Year!

It was only fitting that the Multihull of the Year winners would be announced at the spectacular International Multihull Boat Show, held at La Grande Motte on April 18 – 22.

Lagoon 50 wins Multihull of the Year!

For the first time, Multihull World magazine and Multicoque Mag joined forces with the Multihull Show to organise this prestigious election.

With a staggering 10,000 votes cast, multihull devotees were keen to have their say.

And in the 40 to 50 foot category, the choice was clear – the ground-breaking Lagoon 50 was the voters’ favourite.

What makes the Multihull of the Year awards special is that the winners are chosen by you – enthusiasts, sailors, racers and multihull lovers chose from a list of 30 nominees from a number of categories made public in December 2017.

Votes were cast via a dedicated website – www.multihulloftheyear.com.

It’s easy to see why the Lagoon 50 took the prize home. This elegant boat boasts a stunning and unique visual identity and she delivers an outstanding performance without compromising on generous volume.

A well-deserved award for a boat that is turning heads and standing out from the crowd as a large, seaworthy and modern owner’s boat, built to impress.

A winner in every sense.

Two VIP events to view to Lagoon 50 will be scheduled in Sydney and the Sunshine Coast after the Sydney Boat Show… register your interest here.
